What is Balance & Fall Prevention?

Falls are a leading cause of injury among older adults—but they are not an inevitable part of aging. Our Balance and Fall Prevention program is designed to help individuals improve stability, build strength, and move with greater confidence.

WHO CAN BENEFIT

Older adults with a history of falls or unsteadiness

Individuals recovering from injury or surgery

Those with balance-related conditions (e.g., vertigo, neuropathy, Parkinson’s disease)

Anyone feeling hesitant or fearful about walking or standing

Program Includes:​

  • Comprehensive balance and mobility assessment

  • Strengthening exercises for legs, hips, and core

  • Gait training and coordination activities

  • Vestibular therapy (if dizziness or vertigo is a factor)

  • Education on home safety and fall prevention strategies

  • Assistive device training when needed (canes, walkers, etc.)
